Each year the association sets aside money to award at least one $500 scholarship to one of our youth members. In the past funds for the scholarship have been donated by:

• Zundel Farms (Bruce and Belinda Zundel) – two $500 scholarships
• Jason Romney – one $500 scholarship

To be eligible for the scholarship:

• Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on most recent report card
• Currently be a junior, senior, or high school graduate (within the last year)
• Be a member of the URCHA
• Preference will be given to those who volunteer at URCHA shows, clinics, futurity
• Complete a short essay describing your contributions to URCHA and the horse industry to date, your plans for your post-secondary education, and how you plan to continue to promote and participate in the horse industry in the future.
