Chad Blaisdell was born, raised and currently lives in Malad, Idaho where he helps run the family ranch; while training & showing reined cow horses. Chad has always had a love for horses and has been starting colts since he was a kid. He also competed in High School rodeo and still enjoys competing in team brandings, doctoring, and ranch roping. He believes that working on the ranch enables him to make well rounded horses.

What drew Chad to the reined cow horse, where he has been competing since 2011, was the challenge of training a horse to do three events. It was a challenge he took head on and it has paid off immensely. Some of his accomplishments include: 2016 Reno Reserve Limited Open Hackamore Classic Champion; 2016 top ten Limited Open Hackamore World Show finalist in Ft. Worth, TX; 2017 IRCHA Open Hackamore Champion; 2017 IRCHA Reserve Open Derby Champion; and 2017 URCHA Open Futurity Champion; and 2017 World Show qualifier.

Chad contributes his success to the support of his wife Racheal and three children, his clients, a lot of hours horseback, and all of those that have helped him along the way. What he loves about the cow horse is that, it is like a big family and everyone is there to help and cheer each other on.
